MID-TERRACED LATE VICTORIAN STYLE HOUSE KENSINGTON (LONDON)

To bring some contemporary elements to a traditional Victorian cottage, the client requested solutions for a modern, workable kitchen, a comfortable and welcoming living/dining room including a workspace and WC, all located in the basement.

In the living/dining area italian furniture, modern, contemporary with clean lines were first choice because of the relative small sizes available. 

The original tired country style fittings in the kitchen were replaced with modern white-matt surfaces. Corian worktops and oak wood flooring were used to reflect a modern but also comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Dimmable lighting solutions and some design classics were incorporated to bring the whole scheme to its perfection.
